Our Favorite Farms & Co-ops

Here are some of our favorite farms, shops and products.

Mill City Farmers Market — Their commitment to the farmers and vendors who are working towards sustainability and land management always makes me feel better when I spend my dollars there. I leave with bags full of local food, jams, bread, even my favorite soap!

Northeast Farmers Market — This accessible market on University Ave in NE Mpls provides a welcoming environment and helps community support local farmers.

California Street Farm — Small urban farm in the heart of Northeast Minneapolis. One of my favorites to visit at the Northeast Farmers Market.

Whole Grain Milling A local flour mill that produces gorgeous cornmeal, beans, oats as well as flours.

Hope Creamery Delicious small-batch butter from Hope, Minnesota.

Larry Schultz Organic Farm Always great organic eggs from this local farmer.

Akis Bread Haus A German bakery in Northeast Minneapolis where we get all of our fresh baked bread.

Sunrise Flour Mill Based out of North Branch, MN. Specializing in heritage flour, grains, and champions of enjoying bread, the way it used to be!

Burning River Some of the best salad mixes you can find at the Farmer’s Market, raised with love in WI.

Nistler Farms Fantastic sweet corn, melons, and honey.

Eastside Co-op A gem of a co-op in NE Minneapolis.

Mhonpaj’s Garden The first organic Hmong farm in MN. They grow beautiful greens, other hard to find Asian staples, and always have a big smile to meet you with at the market.

Coastal Seafoods The best source for fresh, sustainable seafood.
